Osmanthus burkwoodii
A very popular rounded evergreen shrub with glossy dark green foliage. This structural foliage is contrasted beautifully by perfumed, jasmine like, white flowers in mid and late spring. Burkwoodii is a hybrid allowing it to be a more robust plant than delavayi which makes it more suitable for larger gardens and large hedges while still providing the same display of flowers, but the flowers are not as fragrant as delavayi.
